Auto Windscreens’ ADAS recalibration process bolstered with new Epyx 1link deal
Auto Windscreens has enlisted Epyx to further reinforce its commitment
to seamless Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) recalibration.
Epyx’s 1link Service Network e-commerce platform is being used as a route for
partners such as fleets to confirm remotely that the technology has been safely
The platform is able to provide an audit trail showing that ADAS has been
calibrated correctly following windscreen replacement by an authorised dealer
and technician using manufacturer-approved diagnostic systems.
Jamie Wiseman, key account manager at Epyx, said: “ADAS equipment is affected
every time a windscreen is replaced and it is a serious issue. If the
recalibration is incorrectly carried out, it means that essential driver safety
systems may not work properly.
“The support that we are providing to Auto Windscreens means that they will be
able to ensure that the integrity to the safety systems is returned to the
manufacturer’s specification after a replacement.”
