Autovista Group introduces Glass’s Repair Estimate to UK market

Crash repair data provided by Autovista Group, parent company of Glass’s, has been launched in the UK.

Repair Estimate, which has been used by Autovista Group’s European customers since 2013, is now available in the UK as Glass’s Repair Estimate and replaces GlassMatix.

David Littleford, key account manager at Glass’s, said: “GlassMatix did a great job for a number of years, but it was becoming outdated and the technology left little room to modernise. We believe Repair Estimate is better than anything else on the market and our customers agree.”

UK customers can now benefit from:
  • Quick, easy and precise parts selection thanks to dynamic, colour coded graphics
  • Swift calculations with multiple part selection, intelligent options display, real time calculations and ‘Speedy Zone’, which automatically displays the areas most susceptible to damage
  • Integrated valuation, technical and specification data as standard
  • A web-based and tablet optimised solution that can be accessed from anywhere
  • Custom PDF Report builder and XML Export functionality for systems integration.
Tom Jackson, senior product manager at Glass’s, said: “We provide the best crash repair data in the UK and Repair Estimate is the perfect platform for us to demonstrate this. Repair Estimate is also part of our single online data platform, which means customers can now access all of our data sets and asset types in one place, from any PC or tablet. This is a big step forward in terms of flexibility for our customers.”

Repair Estimate can be accessed through Glass’s single online platform or - for those looking for a complete workflow solution - through third party systems via an integrated API that includes accident, dealer and fleet management systems or crash repair solutions, such as Minotaur Software’s Electronic Vehicle Assessment (EVA) platform.

Dan Sweeney, managing director of Minotaur Software, is delighted to be pioneering the integration of Glass’s Repair Estimate data in the UK: “The new Repair Estimate graphical interface allows an estimate to be completed quickly and easily. The feedback from our existing clients has been very positive for the seamless integration and slick estimating.”
