DVLA System Unavailability May 2017

DVLA System Unavailability May 2017

System Upgrade Unavailability
The DVLA will be implementing system upgrades over the next two weekends.
Saturday 6th May (9pm) -  Sunday 7th May (1.30 pm)
The DVLA services that will be impacted will be the Personalised Registrations Assign and Sale of Marks digital services.  These will be unavailable and the essential maintenance page information will be shown. There is NO impact on our Driver & Vehicle enquiry services.

Friday 13th May (7.00pm) - Monday 15th May (early)
During this period, the Department for Work and Pensions systems which integrate with DVLA systems will be unable to verify National Insurance (NI) numbers. Therefore, the View Driving Licence (VDL) and Share Driving Licence (SDL) services will be unavailable.
The Check Driving Licence service will continue to be available during this period and any valid Check Code can be redeemed as usual.  Drivers will still be able to create a driving licence Check Code by either accessing the View Driving Licence service using GOV.UK Verify, or by calling DVLA on 0300 083 0013 (Mon-Fri 0800-1900, Sat 0800-1400). Check Codes can be generated in advance of the disruption and will be valid for up to 21 days.

The DVLA Premium Line service will also operate as normal during this period on 0906 139 3837 (Mon-Fri 0800-1900, Sat 0800-1400) to provide companies and employers with the checking and confirmation service.
